MUSICAL ARTS
Festival Chorale
The entry point for vocalists is with the Festival Chorale and does not require an audition. The Festival Chorale offers a flexible rehearsal schedule, utilizing both weeknights and Saturday mornings to give participants several options. The Chorale is part of worship leadership for Festival Sundays, which include: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and other special occasions. Watch for announcements of these events or check the Worship Arts Calendar
Vocal Ensemble
The Vocal Ensemble leads worship every 3-4 weeks during the Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons. This group will also prepare music for presentation at our Christmas Eve and Good Friday events. Participation for new members requires an interview and audition.
Worship Leading Team Vocalist
To sing in the smaller worship leading teams will require an interview and audition. After participating in the Vocal Ensemble for a season (typically 3-4 months), you can schedule an appointment with the Director of Worship Arts to explore this opportunity.
Worship Band
Instrumentalists who play piano, keys, guitar (acoustic/
electric/bass), drum kit, and/or percussion are invited to schedule an interview and audition with the Director of Worship Arts. Typically, these players are scheduled once or twice a month as part of the Worship Leading Teams.
Orchestra (sections)
Periodically, we schedule different sections (see below)
to be part of Sunday morning worship leadership. On Festival Sundays we assemble all the orchestra sections
to accompany the Festival Chorale. These include: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, and other special occasions. Watch for announcements of these events or check the Worship Arts Events Roster.
Participation in the orchestra sections will require an interview and audition.
Strings: Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass
Woodwinds: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Saxophone
Brass: Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Tuba
DRAMATIC ARTS
Skilled actors are periodically part of our worship gatherings. Drama sketches can provide support for a sermon theme, augment a set of worship elements or may be part of a Festival. If you have experience as an actor and/or drama director, please contact the Worship Arts Office.
VISUAL ARTS
Decorative
Helping to set the tone when we gather to worship or for a seasonal event are the decorations in the room or on the platform. If you have a talent or skill in decorative arts please contact the Worship Arts Office.
Projection (immediate need!)
A critical element in our worship gatherings and special events are the images that are projected on the large screens in the room. If you have experience or training in graphic design or graphic arts and would be interested in contributing to the production of our Visual Arts, please contact the Worship Arts Office.
