Pam and I both grew up on farms and lived in the Spicer area and were married in 1957 at the First Baptist Church in Willmar. After attending NW College and TEDS we joined the EFC Mission in 1964 and served in Singapore for 30 of them. We have served with the EFC of America mission for over 40 years. The EFCW has been supporting us from around 1968. After retiring from Singapore in 1995, we established our home in Spicer. We now work part time for the EFC Mission assisting the Mission to keep in contact with the 90+ Missionary Retirees. Another part time job is with our church as Marriage and Family Counselors and Pre-marital Counselors. Pam and I have three children, all married, and eight grandchildren with the ninth on the way. Things we like to do are gardening, reading, cross-word puzzles, and walking. Pam's personal favorites are needle work and sewing. Richard likes biking, golf, and fishing. We both enjoy cooking, Pam trying new dishes (always great) and Richard likes to make curry dishes. Indian food with the curries and real spicy foods are our favorites.
