I came to serve as the Senior Pastor in November of 2007. My undergraduate theological training was at Northeastern Bible College and my graduate work was at Columbia International University. My ministry experience includes being the Senior Pastor at FairCreek Church in Ohio and Lead Pastor at Calvary Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. I have also served as chaplain in the Chicago White Sox baseball organization.

 My wife Dee and I have three grown children. Our son Michael is a physician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He and his wife Lynsey live in Nashville, TN. Our daughter Beth is a special needs teacher in middle school. She and her husband Noah live in Raleigh, NC and our youngest son Andrew is a senior at UNC Chapel Hill and will be attending law school upon graduation.

For refreshment we enjoy the outdoors. I especially enjoy tennis, golf and fishing.
